Sometimes the frame of your Sauna Pro or Sauna Max tent can become slightly misaligned during unboxing, packing away, or setting it up. At first glance, it might look like the frame is broken, but it is not. This is actually a super quick and easy fix that usually takes less than a minute.
Why It Happens
The frames of these tents are designed with flexible steel. This flexibility is what makes the tent so easy to pop up instantly and just as simple to pack down. Occasionally, the frame may be forced the wrong way, causing a temporary misalignment. When this happens, you will notice the frame bending oddly and the tent will not be able to stand properly.
How to Fix It
Follow these simple steps to realign your frame:
-
Locate the misaligned section
Find the part of the frame that looks out of place or is not behaving normally. Place your left and right hands on either side of the misalignment. -
Move the frame like bicycle pedals
Gently row your hands back and forth, rotating the frame as if you were pedaling a bike. -
Try different movements
There is no single correct direction to push. The key is to keep moving the frame around. When it realigns, you will feel it snap or jerk back into its proper position. -
Repeat if needed
If more than one section is misaligned, simply repeat the process in each spot until the frame is fully corrected.
Once the frame snaps back into place, your tent will stand properly again and be ready for use.
